FAA Reauth is Passed

It makes no sense for them not to be. We gonna now be 50% staffed. We did it!
Pretty much I think our new number is 22or 24 and we been running the place with 10 CPC’s, that is not fun. It will be nice once we have more CPC’s but if they incorporate the new CRWG numbers transfers are basically nil until they actually ramp up hiring and it’s still going to be years before significant movement happens. In the meantime lots of retirements.

The new numbers are comical in some places. Others barely needed the increase.

Not seeing anything specific about a new Academy, or Texas, or anything like that. "The Administrator shall initiate the development of a plan to expand overall FAA capacity." That's it.

Lenny overpromising and underdelivering just like everyone else who claims to have insider knowledge.

The second academy portion didn’t make it in the final bill, but Lenny will push his own narrative to make it seem that way.

That’s public knowledge I have the insider knowledge for the plan.

Then you should have maybe said that in the original post, instead of what you did say:
Let me break down what’s in it [...]

Max Hiring with a new additional FAA academy in Texas.

This will allow the FAA to hire upwards of 4000+ trainees a year.
Forgive me for being skeptical of people with "insider knowledge." Green Christmas, Green St Paddy's Day, daddy Santa is on the cusp of signing a new MOU which will give every controller 30% CIP and a pony. I don't give a good goddamn what the plan is. Get back to me when you have news about something that actually happened.

Forcing the FAA to use CRWG numbers is a win, I'll grant that.

Thank you!

No one takes Lenny, the Fat POS Porrey and the others who blast misinformation on atc2...

FAA reauth seems to have a lot of good for the union. However, I am curious how they will navigate ncept with crwg.
